I am hosting a logo design contest over on Worth1000.com. It’s free to enter (of course), and if you win then you’ll walk away with $50, plus the satisfaction that you designed a logo for Freeple.com!
The contest begins today and lasts until November 7th. You have until then to submit your creations.
I finally did it. I have gotten rid of my terrible, horrible, no good, very bad hosting provider Hostitnow.com. Good bye and thanks for all the bandwidth!
I am now serving all of my domains from my new provider, WebHostingBuzz.com.
I broke the first and second rules of Google Club. Never talk about Google Club. I received the following email warning me:
Hello,
While reviewing your account, we noticed that you are currently displaying Google ads in a manner that is not compliant with our policies. For instance, we found violations of AdSense policies on pages such as http://www.tacosntonic.com/page/2/
Publishers are not permitted to encourage users to click on Google ads or bring excessive attention to ad units. For example, your site cannot contain phrases such as “click the ads,†“support our sponsors,†“visit these recommended links,†or other similar language that could apply to the Google ads on your site. Publishers may not use arrows or other symbols to direct attention to the ads on their sites, and publishers may not label the Google ads with text other than “sponsored links†or “advertisements.â€
Please make any necessary changes to your web pages in the next 72 hours. We also suggest that you take the time to review our program policies (https://www.google.com/adsense/policies) to ensure that all of your other pages are in compliance.
Once you update your site, we will automatically detect the changes and ad serving will not be affected. If you choose not to make the changes to your account within the next three days, your account will remain active but you will no longer be able to display ads on the site. Please note, however, that we may disable your account if further violations are found in the future.
Thank you for your cooperation.
Sincerely,
The Google AdSense Team

To avoid the risk of having your account disabled for violation of AdSense policies, we recommend that publishers also review the important guidelines found here: https://www.google.com/support/adsense/bin/answer.py?answer=23921&ctx=en
Thanks for the warning Google, it will never happen again.
If you have an RSS reader like Bloglines, now you can now subscribe to my Picture RSS Feed. Then you will get notified when new pictures are added to the site.
I recommend Bloglines if you don’t already have a news reader.
I have recently added the ability for you to receive an email notification whenever I add a new post to the blog. So if you don’t already subscribe to my RSS feed, now you can get notified through email. I will also send you a notification whenever I add new photos.
If you are receiving an email for this post then you have either expressed interest in the past of being notified, or I have manually added you to the list. You can subscribe or unsubscribe here.
I can now allow registered users privileged access to the none TacosnTonic.com pictures. So far it’s a manual process where I can assign you to a group or grant you access to particular directories.
Want to be notified when there is a new blog post? If you have an RSS reader then you can subscribe to my RSS feed with the following URL: http://www.tacosntonic.com/rss2
If you need an RSS reader, I recommend you use Bloglines.com. Once you get it setup, it’s utterly addicting.
I lost my entire website. There is no backup and I’ve given up on finding it. Now I must rebuild.
Sometimes its good to start over and get a fresh start at things. I am not looking forward to all of the work but I must get started sometime. In the next week or 2, you should hopefully see this website come back to normal. There will be new features and things will generally get better and better.
I’m on a backup frenzy right now, backing up everything I have everywhere once a week. If you don’t have a backup of your computer, consider making one now. Just think for a moment what you would do if you lost everything. That might persuade you to backup your files.
