Here are three pictures of damage from the tornado that just recently struck Tarrytown, NY. Supposedly the last tornado in this area was in 1812.

I can’t believe a tornado hit this area. That’s another thing that I missed. I guess I’ll have to wait until the next one.

We Were THERE minutes after your tornado!!! Driving up from VA & couldn’t believe what we were seeing! Trees broken off about 3-4 ft up, just snapped off their tunks! Trees, branches, leaves, debris all over rte 684 & we were dead stopped while crews tried to drag the debris off the highway. We contemplated taking the Saw Mill North after crossing the Tappanzee - thank goodness we didn’t as we later found out the road was CLOSED!! And we had to get to Boston/Cape Cod because Mom is in critical condition. We DID make it, & Mom is stabilized but still not eating. But, What an amazing storm!!! We missed being IN IT by only a matter of minutes!!!
Glad you were sfe.
